Lana Popović-Maneski, CEO

Received a 5-year dipl. eng. degree in 2007 and a PhD degree in biomedical engineering in 2011 from the University of Belgrade, School of Electrical Engineering. During 2008-2012 she worked for Tecnalia Research & Innovation as principal investigator in projects concerning applications of electrical stimulation in motor rehabilitation. During 2012-2016 she was an assistant professor of biomedical engineering at University of Novi Pazar and University of Belgrade, Serbia. Since 2012 she is a researcher at the Institute of Technical Sciences of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts. Since 2016 she is an external researcher at graduate program in biomedical engineering of Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná, Curitiba, Brazil. She has more than 30 publications on Google scholar list (cited more than 400 times with the index h = 11) and a patent. She published three text books and a book chapter. She is a reviewer of several journals on SCI list and external reviewer for European commission. Her main interests are: functional electrical stimulation, neurorehabilitation, wearable sensors and actuators, rehabilitation robotics, electrophysiological signal processing.

3F-Fit Fabricando Faber is a small company dedicated to the development of technologies for assisting persons with special needs. The company is making efforts to translate R&D results into innovations.

The direct trigger to start the company stems from collaboration with the association Advanced Neuro-rehabilitation TherapieS (ANTS) in Lyon, France.

The activities in the domain of biking assisted by electrical stimulation are the basis of the collaboration.
